In an increasingly uncertain economic, social and health context, the need to belong to a culture and its values is felt even stronger. This need, essential for the creation of a nation, has prompted many citizens to proclaim their independence and build their perfect state in human history. An act of freedom but also of responsibility inspired by the first micronation: The Principality of Sealand by Roy Bates in the 1960s.
One More Nation is a web platform that invites its users to design their own nation. By defining their nation's various emblems and symbols such as the flag, the currency or its motto, the participant is confronted with their political and social choices and convictions as the leader of a nation. The interactive journey immerses the user in the quest of a new national identity and gives him or her the opportunity to receive an unofficial letter of independence to address to the United Nations.
